Read the chatscript for Part One of the #litchat WritingWednesday discussion of Dan Harmon’s Story Circle here.

Stories, whether stage, screen, television or print, are entertainment. Entertainment is simply holding one’s attention for a certain period of time. Dan Harmon, creator of NBC’s hit television sitcom Community, developed a symmetrical story circle that blends  Joseph Campbell theory with pop culture expectations.
